It’s time we address the epidemic of dogs greeting every passerby as if they’ve returned from war. While enthusiasm is admirable, not every individual desires immediate face-licks, excited sniffing, or a rapid-fire tail helicopter.
Respectful distances and fewer emotional reunions with strangers would greatly improve public order—and nap quality.
