Cat Caught Red-Pawed in Laser Pointer Fraud Scheme

A local cat was arrested today after allegedly charging neighborhood pets to chase a laser dot he wasn’t actually controlling. Authorities say the accused used prerecorded laser videos to scam dogs and fellow cats out of treats and toys.

The cat maintains his innocence, claiming the footage was “for entertainment purposes only,” though investigators call it “the most obvious fraud since fake yarn investments.”
