The recently proposed Tuna Tax is nothing more than species-based discrimination disguised as economic policy. Cats have relied on tuna for generations—it is not merely food, but culture. Imposing an additional tariff on imports only pushes hardworking feline families further into hardship.
If lawmakers wish to balance the budget, perhaps they should tax dog biscuits instead.
